Enhancement of DCR/DRR and ZAO detailed account report -Now OLTAS challan table based- matter regarding-.
OLTAS INSTRUCTION NO. 38,
Dated: 02.09.2009
During the TAS era the Daily Collection Register (DCR), Daily Refund Register (DRR) and ZAO detailed account report were generated based on t_clean_challan table. This table was used to store physical challan data after DO clearance. The data entry of physical challans was done at RCCs/Computer Centre.
2. Since the inception of OLTAS ie. from June'2004 onward, designated Banks are asked to digitize challan data and to transmit the data to TIN.This in turn gets transmitted to NCC and RCCs/CC. The data transmitted by banks is stored in t_oltas_challan table and then moved by local schedulers to t_clean_challan table for generation of above reports. In the meanwhile e-payment has also been started to allow online tax payments which is also stored in t_oltas_challan table.
3. Because of the above procedural changes it is reported by many centres that there are some discrepancies found in DCR/DRR and ZAO reports eg outstation payments are not appearing in DCR and that ZAO report is not matching with the information provided by local ZAO of the RCC etc.
4. In order to sort out the above problems reported by RCCs it was decided to redesign these reports and prepare them based on t_oltas_challan. These reports have already been developed and implemented on PDC/BCP server. These reports can be generated by RCCs using the user having the role AR_TAS_REP. Steps to generate report are enclosed in Annexure 'A'.
5. It is requested to bring these changes to the notice of all users under your RCC / Computer Centre.
Yours faithfully,
Encl : As above.
